Our Windows
All of our PVC-U windows come with shootbolt locking as standard (the sash locks on three edges rather than just at the edge where the handles is). There is also a nightvent facility to enable the windows to locked in a slightly open position for background ventilation.
There is a choice of handle finishes available, whether you would prefer plain white to blend in with the window or maybe you have gold, chrome or black fittings elsewhere you may want to match.
There is an option of whether the frames have sloped (bevelled) edges on the PVC-U section or you can choose to have them with a sculptured (ovolo) design instead if you would prefer. The internal beads too (that retain the glass) can be bevelled or ovolo independant of the section choosen for the main frames.
Sidehung opening sashes are fitted with Egress hinges (for emergency exit) as standard. In addition any sash can be restricted in the amount it opens should you require this.
All windows are available in a wide choice of foiled finishes as well as standard white, most popularly Rosewood or Irish Oak, but also in selection of other colours too.
There is a wide choice of decorative designs available for the glass units that fit into the window. Most popular and most often seen is the 9mm Leaded Rectangular or Diamond designs, or 18mm white Georgian Bars fitted in a retangular pattern within the glass unit. Georgian bars however can be surface mounted for a more authentic look and there are dozens of other lead patterns and coloured glasses available too!
