Our Conservatories
Our conservatories are available in three main styles, the Lean-to, the Edwardian, and the Victorian. The Lean-to and Edwardian would sit on a rectangular or square base, but the Victorian would have at least one side made into equal angled segments (normally 3 or 5).
The base can be an existing one, or built by ourselves (or by yourself or your builder if you prefer). We can also take care of any electrical or plumbing work that would be required for the finishes job.
The base building can incorporate dwarf or 3/4 height walls and the wall frames would then be made from our superb range of PVC-U windows and doors with exactly the same specification we would use when replacing them in your home.
The design of the window and door frames is vast, with or without midrails or transome bars, sashes to open above or below transomes or both. Singles doors, French Doors, Patio Doors or Bi-Fold doors. The choice is yours!
The roof is built from structural aluminium clad in PVC-U in a colour and finish to match the frames, and can be glazed with a choice of Opal, Bronze or Clear Polycarbonate roofing sheets in thicknesses from 24mm to 32mm although the preferred option nowadays is for the roofing sheets to be glass. Glass roofs provide better insulation in the winter, keep out more unwanted heat in the summer and do not make a noise when it rains!
To finish off the inside we offer a range of bespoke foil finished MDF window boards and skirtings that are wipe clean and never need painting.
